Overview

Designed and built a full-stack content management platform for managing website content through a modern admin portal. The platform uses a Next.JS frontend, ASP.Net Core REST API, PostgreSQL database and Cloudflare R2 for media storage.

The infrastructure is self-hosted behind Cloudflare Tunnels, providing secure remote access without exposing the server directly to the internet.

Architecture

  • Frontend — React admin portal for creating and editing content
  • API — Spring Boot REST API handling authentication, content and media endpoints
  • Database — PostgreSQL, with schema migrations managed through Flyway
  • Media — Cloudflare R2 object storage for images and assets
  • Networking — Cloudflare Tunnels expose the self-hosted backend without opening inbound ports
  • Hosting — Netlify for the public frontend, Docker for the self-hosted services
